This FAN SITE is dedicated to the legendary Martial Artist and Actor who introduced and defined the image of the Ninja for movie fans all over the world. This site is NOT an official site. It is simply a site created by a fan for fans who wish to remember the glory days when Ninja movies were the craze and when Sho Kosugi was known as the "Master Ninja".
To his fans, Sho Kosugi's name will forever be synonymous with the word Ninja.

Regarding NINJA ASSASSIN... It appears that the release date has been pushed back from January to October 2009 (unconfirmed).

More cool info and pics for this update. A fellow Sho fan (who must have the eyes of a hawk) spotted Sho in the film THE BAD NEWS BEARS GO TO JAPAN and I've made DVD cappies for the PICTURES section. Anyway here's a complete rundown of this batch of updates:
BIOGRAPHY (updated section about Sho's early film work in both "The Stranger From Korea" and "The Bad News Bears Go To Japan" as well as incorporated links to external sites with info about 2 of Sho's martial arts instructors, Yasuhiro Konishi and Fumio Demura. I did the same for Sho's wife Shook and children Kane, Shane, and Ayeesha, as well as for 2 other martial artists connected with Sho, Jun Chong and Mike Stone.)

A particularly cool update this time around. I was able to find a Korean website with information and great pictures from one of Sho's early movies (before he became famous), namely the film "The Stranger From Korea" (aka "Bruce Lee Fights Back From the Grave"). I was also able to find out the Original Korean title and release date for the film and have updated the filmography accordingly:

To mark this fansite's 5th anniversary (5 years and a month to be exact) and to celebrate the news of a new Sho ninja movie coming next year, I'm pleased to unveil a completely revised and much improved version, with a whole new look and feel (not to mention a new home), which includes the following:
ENTRY PAGE (The old simple text logo has been replaced with this site's title logo and below it a cool circle shaped picture of Sho as the "Black Ninja" from the Japanese TV show watched by Sho's kids at the start of "Pray for Death".
MAIN MENU PAGE (The completely revised main menu is now made up of 3 frames: a white on black title logo, a gold bar seperator, and a button and picture gallery on a white background.
PROFILE (The Fact Sheet and Biography have both been revised and brought up to date. The Biography has been reformated to be all on one long page.)
FILMOGRAPHY (This section has a whole new look with the Filmography menu now consisiting of cool mini 8x10 promo posters for each entry. The old text menu format can also be accessed by clicking on the FILMOGRAPHY label (clicking again will bring it back to the picture menu format). Revised information for each entry (production info, staff & cast credits, etc...) can be accessed by clicking on the mini 8x10 pics or the entry's title in the case of the text menu.)
ARTICLES (All articles have been reformated to be all on one long page each. Also, 3 NEW articles "Practice Makes Perfect Ninja", "A tale for our times starring Ninja" and "Kosugi Will Kick Up 'Return' To Ninja Role" have been added.)
